You’ve Been Lied to About Acne…

I wanted to give my fellow acne sufferers a few quick words of caution when it comes to researching a cure for acne:

There are thousands of business and individual marketers who are selling acne products for the sole purpose of making a quick buck. These kinds of people do not care about your acne, and do not care if their product works for you. They will tell you anything you want to hear, as long as it will convince you to buy a specific product.

Don’t fall for these traps. There are many real and effective ways to cure acne, but I will tell you right now that you won’t find it in a product guaranteeing clear skin in 5 days, 7 days, and so on! If a “miracle” product really existed, we would all be using it.

.

Here are a few things to look out for that will help you spot a “fake” acne review site:

  • Any site that claims that the product can work “in as little as 5 days!”  This is always a lie, and you can’t trust anyone that will lie. Acne takes time to heal.
  • Any site that uses the product name in the domain, i.e.,www.proactiv-review.com, www.dermaskin-connection.com. These sites are 99.9% scammers – websites that are just there to convince you to buy a specific product for the sake of making a commission off of you.
  • Any site with an excessive amount of testimonials, or if you just get that “feeling” that the testimonials are fake.
  • Sites that use a 5-star rating to rate multiple acne products, but no product (or only 1-2 products) are rated lower than 3.5 stars. You know this is fake because if a real person had sampled these products, they would know that some don’t work at all, and would give them 1 star!
  • Sites that don’t give you any more information about the product than the product’s official website. This means they just cut-and-pasted some info on their own site, without ever trying it themselves.
  • Sites that don’t reveal negatives about a product. No product is perfect, and as a consumer you deserve to know the benefits AND the drawbacks of a product you are paying good money for.

.

A Note to my Readers:

My acne product reviews are based on real life experience. All the products I’ve reviewed this website have been personally sampled by me for between 30 and 120 days. The reason that I personally use and review each and every product is because I have struggled with acne my entire life! I know that manufacturer websites cannot be trusted – if they could then every single acne product on the market would have already worked for me, and for you, and there would be no reason for this site to exist.

I also don’t believe, nor do I suggest to my readers that any single acne product out there will solve all your acne problems forever. There is no such thing as a “miracle product” when it comes to acne. Blemishes occur for many different reasons in the body, and won’t be able to be completely solved by simply picking up any old bottle of acne cream.

Sure, I have suggestions about what products will work for you, and this is based on the products that work for me.

But its not just about the product. If you read my article, “15 Clear Skin Tips” you will find that I have included several healthy lifestyle choices that will not only help clear your skin, but help your body to become healthier so you can live a more fulfilling life.

Will a quality acne product help to jump start your journey to clear skin? Of course! But thats not the complete picture. Clear skin is about healthy choices, healthy body, and a healthy mind.
